1. Scope of service
Mangaluna is a manga-translation browser extension. Text recognition (OCR) runs locally on your device; recognized text is sent to our servers for AI translation and returned. We reserve the right to adjust, update, or discontinue service features.
2. Subscription, free quota and fair use
On sign-up you receive a one-time grant of 100 free translation pages (counted as successful pages cumulatively since registration, not reset daily); no payment method is required. Ongoing use is a monthly auto-renewing subscription offered in several page-volume tiers; the specific tiers, page quotas and prices are displayed at checkout in the extension, billed through Creem. The page quota is measured as successful pages over a rolling 30-day window and refreshes each period. The subscription renews and is charged each billing cycle until you cancel. You can cancel anytime yourself from the extension's Account page; after cancelling you are not charged again but keep access until the current period ends. To prevent abuse, account sharing and abnormal automated usage and to keep the service stable for everyone, we may throttle or suspend clearly excessive, automated, or abnormal usage far beyond normal reading; normal reading is unaffected.
3. User conduct
Do not use the service to translate illegal content. Do not share your account with others. Do not attempt to bypass payment or rate limits.
4. Intellectual property
Manga images you translate belong to you or the original rights holder. Translations are AI-generated and free for you to use. We retain rights to the Mangaluna brand, UI, and translation prompt templates.
5. Disclaimer
Translation quality depends on image clarity and recognition accuracy. We make no guarantees of accuracy, fitness for commercial use, or freedom from consequential losses.
6. Breach and termination
If you violate these terms — including but not limited to abuse of service, bypassing payment or rate limits, account sharing, or translating illegal content — we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice, with no refund of any fees paid. In serious cases, we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.
